An Open Rack Vaporizer (ORV) uses ambient seawater cascading over vertical finned-tube panels to efficiently vaporize liquefied natural gas (LNG) without burning fuel.

Technical Data

Technical Specifications

Heat Source:

Ambient seawater sprayed from a trough at the top over the exterior of the panels.

Process Fluid:

Cryogenic LNG (-162°C to -160°C) flowing upward inside the tubes.

Tube Material:

Special aluminum alloy optimized for cryogenic temperatures and high thermal conductivity.

Coating:

Advanced thermal spray or zinc alloy coating on tubes to prevent corrosion and support stable, long-term operation

Operating Temperature Range:

-260°C to 65°C (fluid handling capability).

Maximum Design Pressure:

Up to 250 Bar(g).

Load Range:

Stable operation across 0% to 100% capacity with fast remote response
